ZapMyInfo searches data broker and people-search websites for profiles containing your personal information and submits opt-out, deletion, and suppression requests on your behalf, under a signed authorization you provide. Coverage is the broker list published on our site (48 brokers at launch), which we may expand over time.
We cannot remove public or government records (court filings, voter rolls, property records), news articles, or content you or others posted on social media or other accounts. Some brokers limit what a consumer opt-out can remove, and some require you to complete a step personally — we will tell you when that applies. Removal timelines are controlled by the brokers (typically 1–6 weeks, occasionally up to 90 days); we do not guarantee removal from any specific broker by any specific date, and brokers may re-list information from new data feeds — which is what monitoring addresses.
If we have not completed removal work on your behalf within the first 30 days after purchase, you may request a full refund of your Deep Clean fee. Monitoring fees for periods already elapsed are not refundable except where required by law.
You agree to provide accurate information, to only request service for yourself (or for family members who have authorized you / minors in your care), and to complete steps that a broker requires to come from you personally when we notify you.
You may not use the service to remove information about another adult without their authorization, to evade lawful obligations, or for any unlawful purpose. We may decline or terminate service that violates this section.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for a broker's independent decision to retain or re-publish information.
We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to customers before taking effect. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
